Make Your Laundry Day Easier With a Auto-On Sensor For Your Lights
Laundry day is always not the most inspiring day. You have to gather up all all your clothes, soap, and dryer sheets and then head to the laundry room in some other room of the house. How about making that a little easier on yourself by switching your standard light switch with an automatic sensor that will turn on for you. This is one of the best ways I have found to start to make your house smarter. It will turn on when the light sensor senses motion and remain on until it does not detect motion for a default of 5 mins. So you can just leave the room when you are done and the lights will turn themselves off! It is really an easier way to enter your laundry area. I can remember the old school string that would hang from the light in the basement. That was a classic way to turn on the light. Now you don’t even need that string any more. We are living in interesting times, for sure!

When time came to install mine, I had an electrician do it for me because he happened to be there installing other lights in my kitchen. That was a good way to kill two birds with one stone. He didn’t even charge me for the service becuase it was a 2 minute job. If you do decide to do it on your own, make sure you turn the power off from your breaker and then read all the instructions before installation(maybe even twice).
