Flipboard is an Amazing iPhone Newsreader App
There’s is an app for that. And indeed it is one of the most beautiful applications to land on the iPhone or iPod Touch. The app is called Flipboard and it is easy to setup and it is gorgeous. All you have to do is go to the Apple store and find and install Flipboard. Once you launch the application you can do many things to explore the news. Flipboard has cover stories and also recommended sources to browse from. They have news sites from all the popular content news websites like Wired, Popular Science, CNET, ABC News, and lots more.
One of the greatest parts of having Flipboard is that it integrates with your favorite news sites like Google Reader, Instapaper, 500px and many others. I love that I can incorporate Google Reader into this. I have so many different sites added into Google Reader.
The interface is easy to use, all you have to do is flip up with your finger or down to view a story. Flipboard also includes a mini browser that keeps you in the program. If you have an iPad, Flipboard is also available on that also. The views are even more stunning there.
Named Apple’s iPad App of the year and one of TIME’s Top 50 Innovations, Flipboard creates a personalized magazine out of everything being shared with you. Flip through your Facebook newsfeed, tweets from your Twitter timeline, photos from your Instagram feed and much more. Fill Flipboard with the things you like to read, from niche blogs to publications like Rolling Stone or Lonely Planet, and use Instapaper or Read It Later to save articles to read later. Connect Flipboard to all your social networks, and you’ll have a single place to enjoy, browse, comment on and share all the news, photos and updates that matter to you.
In addition to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, you can flip through your newsfeeds and timelines from Google Reader, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Flickr and 500px on Flipboard.
